MOSCOW, Jan 29 (PRIME) -- The nickel output of Russian metals giant Norilsk Nickel rose 3% on the year to 235,709 tonnes in 2020, the company said on Friday.
Copper output decreased 2% to 487,186 tonnes in the period, while palladium output went down 3% to 2.826 ounces, and platinum output fell 1% to 695,000 ounces.
The company also confirmed plans for production in 2021, and it expects the output to reach 220,000–230,000 tonnes of nickel, 390,000–410,000 tonnes of copper, 2.715–2.843 million ounces of palladium, and 647,000–711,000 ounces of platinum.
